10/5/2022 officers were dispatched to 1200 block of N. Main St., in reference to a leaving the scene motor vehicle crash. Further investigation indicated that the crash was intentional and the result of a domestic assault. Investigation is ongoing, no injuries reported.

10/5/2022 approximately 5pm, officers were dispatched to 200 block of Crescent Lake Rd in reference to a possible stolen vehicle. The vehicle located was confirmed stolen from Washington, MO. This incident led to the eventual arrest of David Bell on 10/6/2022.

10/6/2022 approximately 5pm, information received that David and Rachelle Bell were at the 200 block of W. Gravois Ave. in a business. A search was conducted in the area with the assistance of Franklin County deputies, their K-9 tracking dog, and drone. Mr. Bell was taken into custody a short time later when he was found hiding along interstate 44.

10/6/2022 approximately 9pm, officers responded to a call of a domestic dispute near the 100 block of E. Springfield Rd. Contact was made with parties involved. During the investigation, narcotics and paraphernalia were located. The male subject involved was arrested and released pending lab results from MSHP crime lab. Charges to be filed with Franklin County Prosecuting Attorney.

10/9/2022 approximately 1am, officers were dispatched to 100 block of S. Main St. for a female locked out of her apartment. Officers found a female to be extremely intoxicated and uncooperative and bleeding from her hand as she tried to force entry into her apartment. EMS was called to the scene. The female’s boyfriend arrived and was interfering with EMS and refused to comply with the officers’ request. Both the boyfriend and female were arrested for disorderly conduct.

All parties are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
