Registration is now open for the annual Mules Golf Team fundraiser, which will take place on Friday, September 19 at the Mules National Golf Club in Warrensburg. The event follows a four-person scramble format.
The entry fee is $175 per participant and covers green fees, a golf cart, a player gift, lunch during play, and a mulligan. The tournament uses different tee boxes based on age and gender: current Mules golfers will use black tees; participants aged 59 and younger will play from white tees; those between 60 and 74 will use gray tees; while players aged 75 and older as well as women will play from red tees.
Coach Poe encourages individuals who do not have a team to register as solo players. “Coach Poe will build teams and consider pairing you with a current or former Mules Golf team member to complete your group.”
Prizes are available for the top ten teams in the tournament. “The top-10 teams will take home prizes, but the biggest win is supporting the legacy of Mules Golf.”
Entries must be submitted by September 12. Payments should be made out to UCM Alumni Foundation and sent to Hughes Center Room 203, Attn: Tim Poe, Warrensburg, MO 64093. For additional details, interested parties can call 660-238-2970.
