Description

Leading a Diverse Workforce

Speaker: Ken Brown

For the last few years, diversity-related movements have dominated the news cycle. This news coverage, coupled with increased diversity of the workforce, creates daily challenges for building cohesion in diverse organizations. This session focuses on helping executives learn more about themselves and the diverse people in their organization so they can create more inclusive environments. Using interactive discussions, case studies, self-assessments, and problem-solving exercises, this session will begin with an overview of current diversity-related movements and language, and then move to practical, evidence-based steps that participants can take to be more inclusive in their leadership style, such as empathic language, perception and decision making, and fostering uniqueness and belonging simultaneously.

Please note: THIS IS FOR ELP PARTICIPANTS ONLY.
