The Central Missouri Jennies softball team announced on Apr. 20 that its upcoming doubleheader against the Emporia State Hornets has been rescheduled. The games, originally set for Wednesday, April 22 at Jennies Field in Warrensburg, will now take place on Tuesday, April 28. The first game is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m.

This change affects both teams’ schedules as they continue their seasons in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA). The Jennies currently hold a record of 29-15 overall and are tied with Emporia State at 12-8 in conference play.

Before facing Emporia State, Central Missouri will play a doubleheader against the Missouri-St. Louis Tritons on Tuesday, April 21. Those games are set to start at 2:00 p.m. at UMSL Softball Field in St. Louis.

Looking ahead, the Jennies will host Nebraska-Kearney for Senior Day on Saturday, April 25. Game one of that doubleheader is scheduled for noon in Warrensburg.
