The University of Central Missouri Jennies Golf team earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Division II Central Regional Championship, which will take place May 4-6 at St. Joseph Country Club in St. Joseph, Missouri, according to an April 26 announcement from the NCAA.

This marks the tenth consecutive appearance for the Jennies in the NCAA-II postseason. The team will join other programs from the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA), Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC), and Great American Conference (GAC) as part of the Central Region field.

A total of eighteen teams from these three conferences, along with six individual qualifiers, are set to compete at this year’s regional championship. The Jennies are one of nine MIAA teams advancing to regionals, alongside Rogers State, Washburn, Arkansas-Fort Smith, Central Oklahoma, Nebraska Kearney, Northwest Missouri State University, Missouri Western State University, and Missouri Southern.

Central Missouri has participated in ten events during this season and achieved four wins and eight top-10 finishes. The program also received several postseason conference honors: senior Mia Rallo was named MIAA Player of the Year and four players were selected for All-MIAA teams.

The top four teams from both central and south regions—and five each from east and west—along with two individuals not on advancing teams will move on to compete at the NCAA-II Women’s Golf Championships scheduled for May 12-16 at PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. In total, ninety-eight participants will qualify for nationals.
