Bothwell Regional Health Center offers free Stop the Bleed training on April 3

Bothwell Regional Health Center is set to host a free Stop the Bleed class for the community on Friday, April 3. The training will take place from 8 am to noon at the Bothwell Education Center, located at 600 E. 14th Street.

The Stop the Bleed program aims to educate and equip bystanders with skills to control severe bleeding using medically proven techniques. Organizers emphasize that immediate action by those nearby can be crucial in saving lives when someone is experiencing significant blood loss. Attendees will learn how to identify life-threatening bleeding and use three essential techniques to manage it.
