Bothwell Regional Health Center will begin an eight-week grief support group on September 23. The sessions are scheduled for Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Bothwell Hospital. Chaplain Rob Ayers, who is a certified grief recovery specialist, will facilitate the group.

The support group is intended for people experiencing different types of loss, including the death of a loved one, changes in relationships or careers, health challenges, or spiritual difficulties. Participants will take part in structured conversations and mutual sharing aimed at providing practical tools to manage their grief.

“This group offers a space where people can connect with others who understand what they’re going through,” said Ayers. “Healing happens when we are seen and heard, and this group allows for both.”

Individuals interested in learning more or registering for the program can contact Chaplain Rob Ayers by email at cayers@brhc.org or by phone at 660.287.1090.
